Hello again, it’s me HUMM, the friendly church mouse.
Oh, by the way if someone could buy me a small pair of house slippers to keep my feet warm for the winter I sure would appreciate it. I wore out the pair from last year because I’ve been running here and there with the pageant rehearsals and all that goes on at Hurdtown during the Christmas Season. Maybe Laura could, I hear she likes to read my little messages. I wear a size 0. Actually it’s best if I have two pairs after all I do have four feet.
You can leave them in the office, I’m sure Sue will see that I get them. She doesn’t know it but I sit in there on Tuesdays and Thursdays because I know she has it nice and warm in the office. Don’t tell anyone but I’ve heard her mumble and grumble a few times-----something about the copier.
But it seems she must really like Christmas because I’ve heard her sing a few carols.
If you really want to see what I look like check out the Christmas version I had made of me, it’s taped to the top of the computer in the office.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MY FRIENDS AT HURDTOWN
